
The music ministry of CYNTHIA PALMER has been anointed and appointed by God.
This humble servant has been singing before vast audiences for more than 25
years. Throughout her career, she has received wide acclaim while participating
in various local, state, national and international events. Cynthia has toured
in more than 30 of the 50 United States. Diverse audiences in countries such
as Anchorage & Fairbanks, Alaska; Vancouver, British Columbia; Toronto &
Calgary, Canada; Bermuda, Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies, Germany, France
and Holland have enjoyed her musical gift. She has traveled to Cape Town, Umtata
and Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA, conducting music workshops and singing for more
than 5000 persons.
Most recently, Cynthia ministered in London, England, where she performed
at the famous Royal Albert Hall.Cynthia was recently featured on "Bobby
Jones Gospel" on The Word Network as one of 25 new artists. She was
just honored at the Cingular Bell South Mississippi Gospel Music Awards as
the winner of the "Album of the Year by a Local Artist" and
"Song of the Year by a Local Artist". One of the blessings
of her career was being able to minister thru music to women who are currently
on Death Row at the Alabama State Prison. She has appeared on radio and television
stations throughout the United States and abroad. The mayor recently presented
the ‘Key to the City’ to Cynthia in her hometown of Canton, Mississippi. She
was the first gospel singer to sing at the Jewish synagogue in Dayton, Ohio.
Cynthia was named "Traditional Soloist of the Year" by The
Inner City Survival Coalition of Columbus, Ohio. Cynthia has participated
on concerts featuring such artists as Shirley Caesar, Richard Smallwood &
Vision, Dottie Peoples, The Canton Spirituals, Virtue, Marvin Sapp, Lamar
Campbell & Spirit of Praise and Luther Barnes among many others.
By faith, Cynthia recently accepted God’s calling into Music Ministry on
a FULL-TIME, SELF-SUPPORTING basis. She has recorded and PRODUCED 4 anointed
CD’s, entitled "JUST ENOUGH FAITH TO TRY", "ANOINTED
PSALMS OF PRAISE" and "A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS". Her
fourth album, "HEAVEN IS THE PLACE TO BE", was produced by
Derrick Lee, musical director for the Bobby Jones Gospel program as seen on
